Bartlett was appointed to design, tender and install a fully integrated, energy-efficient heating, cooling and ventilation system for the client’s new office development, delivering a modern commercial HVAC solution focused on comfort, efficiency and long-term performance.
The office air conditioning system was designed using advanced Daikin VRV IV heat recovery technology, providing highly efficient simultaneous heating and cooling throughout the building. The installation incorporated a combination of round flow cassette units and ultra-modern fully flat cassette systems, selected to deliver optimum air distribution while complementing the contemporary office interior design.
To create a healthy and well-ventilated working environment, Bartlett also designed and installed a dedicated mechanical ventilation system using Daikin VAM heat recovery ventilation units. These systems were carefully specified to improve indoor air quality, maximise fresh air circulation and recover heat energy, helping to reduce overall energy consumption while maintaining consistent comfort levels for employees throughout the office space.
The complete commercial HVAC installation included intelligent local room controllers alongside a fully integrated web-based building management interface, allowing remote monitoring, control and system management directly from Bartlett’s office. This smart building approach provided enhanced operational flexibility, energy management and long-term maintenance efficiency.
Following the successful completion of the Christchurch office project, Bartlett was subsequently awarded additional contracts to deliver new heating, cooling and ventilation installations for the client’s offices in Frome, Isle of Wight and Exeter.
