As part of the refurbishment and extension of the The Devon Hotel, Bartlett was appointed to design and deliver a modern, energy-efficient heating and cooling system for the newly developed hotel bedrooms, providing reliable year-round comfort for guests.
The HVAC solution was based on advanced Daikin VRV heat recovery technology, using high-efficiency condensing units paired with low-noise concealed ducted fan coil units. This system was carefully designed to provide discreet, quiet operation—ideal for premium hotel accommodation where guest comfort and acoustic performance are essential.
To ensure optimum energy performance and precise environmental control, the system is managed via the latest Daikin iTouch central control platform. This intelligent building management interface allows the hotel to operate the heating and cooling system at maximum efficiency, improving comfort levels while reducing energy consumption and operating costs.
