Excellent role available for an experienced Catering Equipment Engineer to join a long-established family run business based in Cornwall. Service, maintenance, repairs, and installation of a wide range of gas and electrical equipment to the Catering, Hospitality and Public sectors.

Role Overview
· Service and maintenance of a variety of gas and electrical catering equipment
· Field base role in Cornwall
· 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
· Participation in weekend Standby Rota
· Overtime hours available

Job Requirements
· Comcat 1,3 and 5 qualifications essential
· Experience in electrical and gas catering equipment repair, installation, and maintenance
· Must have full UK driving licence
· Reside in Cornwall area, commutable to Redruth
· Basic Computer literacy

Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Maintenance Engineer

Salary £28950 – £32240 depending on experience + Benefits

Bartlett Ltd are an Employee Owned Company established in 1958 providing, Sales, Installation, Service and Maintenance for refrigeration, air conditioning and catering equipment across the South West. Due to continued success, Bartlett are recruiting a refrigeration and air conditioning maintenance engineer to carry out pre-planned preventative maintenance visits at sites across the Southwest. The successful candidate will be motivated to work independently and as part of a team, be able to promote the Company activities positively and they will work alongside the Service Supervisor and the Technical Manager on a day-to-day basis.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
• To provide a full and thorough service visit on clients premises for refrigeration and air conditioning
• To complete all associated job sheets and maintenance sheets via our CRM package.
• Assisting other engineers on sites when required
• Liaising with existing clients to pre-book maintenance visits
• Occasional fitment of parts on clients sites
• Promoting Health and Safety compliance and data recording to meet various regulations
• Problem solve issues as they occur
• Accurate presentation of service related reports
• Develop a knowledge of our CRM software (training given)

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the following:
• Engineering knowledge (Refrigeration/Air Conditioning an advantage but not essential)
• Experience in self-motivation and being able to organise workload independently
• A good positive attitude
• Have great customer service skills
• A strong, flexible work ethic
• Full driving licence

Apprentice Refrigeration, A/C and Catering Engineer

Bartlett are a long-established family company providing customers with cost effective servicing, maintenance and installations of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning systems and Commercial Catering Equipment

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic apprentice engineer to join our established team of engineers at our Exeter Branch. Working under the direction and guidance of an experienced engineer you will provide support in the installation, service and maintenance of a variety of refrigeration, air conditioning and catering equipment.  Complete training package over 3 years to either NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Commercial Catering Equipment or Electrical Installations, via college attendance and on-site learning.  Site safety and other Health & Safety courses will be provided and a CSCS card will be obtained.

The successful candidate will have achieved grade C or above in at least Maths, English and Science, will need to be physically fit and be able to follow instructions accurately. They must have an interest in engineering, be able to work as part of a team whilst also demonstrating that they are able to use their own initiative.  Good timekeeping and flexibility are a must as there will be occasions where working away and overtime is required to meet deadlines.

Strong communication skills and a basic knowledge of hand tools are essential. Enthusiasm and commitment to succeed with a flexible working attitude are a must together with a ‘can do’ attitude

Hourly rate will be above National Apprentice Rate for the first year and in line with NMW from the second year – overtime rates will apply.  23 Days paid annual leave plus 8 days Bank Holiday.
