Consultation, design and quotation service

At Bartletts our experienced design engineers will provide you with a ‘free, no obligation’ consultation, design and quotation service.

Our experience ranges from the installation of a single split system right up to complete office block air conditioning and ventilation, with equipment and installation values ranging from less than £1,000 to more than £1,200,000.

We are also able to advise on the latest developments in the utilisation of heat pump systems and the effects on energy savings against your existing systems.

In addition we are also able to offer advice to enable you to benefit from the governments enhanced capital allowance scheme to reduce your tax payable, as follows;

ECA

In order to encourage firms to make energy saving investments, in 2001 the Government introduced a tax incentive scheme called the Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA). Under this scheme, expenditure on technologies and products featured on the “Energy Technology List” can qualify for 100% first year tax allowances, giving businesses a significant cash flow boost.

The Energy Technology List can be accessed at www.eca.gov.uk/etl. Products must be individually listed here to qualify for ECA.

There are many categories of technologies on the Energy Technology List. Daikin are concerned mainly with:

Main Category Sub-Category Daikin range
Heat Pumps Air source: Split and Multi-Split Split, Sky air, VRV
Water source Split and Multi-Split  VRV-W
Refrigeration Equipment Packaged Chillers Applied Systems
Air to Air Energy Recovery Heat Exchangers

There are different qualifying criteria set for each category. For example, in the Heat Pump category, systems must meet Energy Label “B” in both cooling and heating to qualify.

These stringent criteria ensure that technologies qualifying for an ECA are energy efficient and thus lead to significant long-term financial benefits in addition to the tax rebate. Businesses can benefit by investing in energy efficient technologies that reduce their energy costs and climate change impact.

Daikin Conveni-Pack:
One system four functions

You are not dreaming. Conveni-pack consists of heating, cooling AND low/high refrigeration units, all combined in a single, compact and integrated system.

Until now, conventional systems for low/high refrigeration, heating and cooling systems have been separated from one another, requiring space and numerous piping connections.

Conveni-pack totally revolutionises this approach

Conveni-pack is specifically designed and developed for small to medium-sized stores or petrol stations. Furthermore, the concept is scalable, so can be easily expanded as your facility grows.

Small stores

For small convenience stores and petrol stations, a single Conveni-pack system is all that is required.

Compared to conventional systems, a great advantage of Conveni-pack for a small store is the simplified piping required to connect the Conveni-pack outdoor unit to the indoor services. Instead of eight pipes you need just three, as fewer units have to be inter-connected.

Medium-sized stores

For larger applications, multiple outdoor units can be connected to a variety of refrigeration systems and air conditioning units. What’s more, the modularity of the Conveni-pack system maximises installation flexibility. Outdoor units can be grouped into blocks or rows, or distributed around the building, to meet specific requirements of the installation. Additionally, the outdoor units can be located above or below the refrigeration cabinets, inside the building and with long runs if required.

Conveni-pack can be provided with a freezer booster pack for use with low temperature refrigeration. This option brings additional energy savings and simplifies installation by limiting the length of heavily insulated pipe required.

Conveni-pack can be connected to any brand of showcases, counters or coldroom evaporators as long as the total connected capacity does not exceed the maximum capacity doesn’t exceed the maximum of the convenipack and as long as the connected units are suited to work with R-407C as a refrigerant.

What are the benefits of Conveni-pack?

Conveni-pack has been developed to provide a compact, affordable, efficient and scalable heating, cooling and low/high refrigeration system that meets the current requirements of the demanding retail environment.

Because you need a low energy system

Thanks to techniques such as optimised controls, inverter technology and heat recovery, Conveni-pack can reduce annual energy consumption up to 50%. Conveni-pack ensures that your total energy usage for heating, cooling and refrigeration is minimised, thus significantly reducing energy bills.

Because you need to limit your CO2 emissions

Lower energy consumption -> Reduces CO2 emissions
Lower refrigeration content compared to traditionnal systems
